Neurology Nurse Practitioner Opportunity near Orland, INPosition Overview:We are currently seeking a dedicated Neurology Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Neurology practice near Orland, IN. In this role, you will provide primary care to patients dealing with a range of neurological conditions, including cerebrovascular disease, central nervous system disorders, peripheral nervous system issues, headache disorders, movement disorders, and seizures. This position involves working under the supervision of the clinic Physician to ensure comprehensive and compassionate patient care.Qualifications and Responsibilities:Qualifications:

• Preferably 1-2 years of neurology experience; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Willingness to assist with on-calls as required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative problem solver and critical thinker
• Valid Indiana State Nursing License
• Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
• Board CertifiedKey Responsibilities:
  • Perform evaluations and examinations, identifying patient problems
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EMG, EEG, labs, and CNS imaging
  • Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about patient management and treatment
  • Partner with the physician to formulate proposed plans of care with patient involvement
  • Manage therapeutic regimes and modify plans if necessary
  • Instruct and counsel patients on prescribed medications and health maintenance
